Volvo XC90 T8
XC90 is a full-size crossover, manufactured by the Swedish company, known as Volvo Cars. The debut of the first generation car was at the Detroit Auto Show back in 2002. The second generation of the crossover was introduced in August 2014. But the new plug-in hybrid version has just been presented and will hit available in local dealerships very soon.
The modern version of the car will not only have everything good we know about Swedish cars, but also will have incredible technical details, which will make it the most powerful and fuel efficient vehicles in its class.

Mercedes GLE 500e
One of the most interesting PHEV vehicles to hit the market this year will be GLE 500e. This German hybrid SUV will have an additional 85 kW electric motor and the lithium-ion battery (8.7 kWh). Mercedes has designed GLE 500e to fit all modern trends. As expected from modern plug-in SUVs, these cars are no longer suitable just for picking up groceries.
The tandem of an electric motor and a V6 turbo enable GLE 500e to rocket to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.3 seconds. In the all-electric mode the SUV is will be enough to drive for 30 km.
According to the manufacturer, this is the range, which is being covered by an #average German to work or back on daily basis. If the calculations are correct, all weekly driving may be handled with no gasoline money spent. Yet another interesting bonus is the quick charging time - it has been reduced to just three hours.

Audi Q7 e-tron Quattro
Apart from using 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine, Audi Q7 e-tron Quattro draws its acceleration power from an additional 94 kW electric motor on. The total capacity of two power units, fitted inside the first Audi crossover with a plug-in option, will reach 378 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.
Thanks to the 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive Quattro system and lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 17,3kW, this PHEV car will reach the speed of 60 miles per hour is just 6 seconds.
Other important stats include: the maximum speed is limited to 140mph, but it should be noted that the top speed in the electric-only mode is limited to 80 mph. Finally, the electric only range is approximated at 56 km and both diesel and electric motors can be fueled by full tanks for about 930 miles.

BMW X5 eDrive
The fans of the beloved X5model by BMW should be excited about having the upgraded version of their favorite X5-style vehicle. This one is expected to be more efficient and technologically advanced.
The car is expected to be brought to motion with the help of a 4-cylinder internal combustion engine and an electric motor powered by a block of lithium-ion batteries.
Such economic setup allows the driver to save fuel, as the new BMW X5 eDrive can do 61mpg, while the acceleration from zero to 100 km/h shouldn’t take more than 7 seconds.
